Sound absorbing glass

PRINCIPLE OF WORK
The revolutionary GLASIO material consists of crystal glass particles thermally connected allowing for a porous structure to form in the whole depth of the panel. Due to pores and the geometry of that structure the penetration of sound energy into a panel mass is enabled, followed by mutual friction with glass particles and the transformation of acoustic energy to thermal energy. This way sound energy can be properly absorbed and does not reflect back into space as in the case of flat glass.
