Czech crystal in the world of acoustics
Glass used for GLASIO production benefits from the exceptional qualities of clear crystal glass. Lead-free baric crystalline, which meets the requirements of good quality crystal glass in terms of its composition, is used for its production.
In order to use the acoustic panel for a wide spectrum of applications, GLASIO systems with a range of acoustic characteristics have been developed. These can be further modified by applying a supplementary acoustic absorber. The spectrum of use is rather wide, starting from home audio rooms, educational institutions to concert halls which need to meet the most demanding acoustic requirements.
The main basic raw materials in production of the panel are fireproof materials such as glass recycled material and stainless steel.
Additionally, the load-bearing structure in GLASIO systems 65 and 110 primarily comprises an aluminium profile and metal connecting material.

GLASIO is a porous material formed by heat-connected particles of crystal glass. The panels are connected by heat only and do not contain any other admixtures, such as fillings and binders.
We have been continuously innovating the product placing emphasis on developing new functional characteristics as part of the TREND grant project. We are currently working with the capability of self-cleaning and improving optical characteristics at temperature change using nanofibers.
